Amanda decided to cut off all her a few weeks ago. It's definitely very different but she likes it.

Megan's Wedding
Amanda, Janna, and Jeff took Chance and Megan's wedding pictures. They came out pretty nice and the lady at Costco where they tried to print them didn't believe them and told them all that they were breaking copyright laws and made Janna sign for the pictures.

Here is the family posing for the camara. I don't think that we did a very good job looking at these pictures, but we all had a lot of fun and a really full house. We had people sleeping everywhere, but we always love being with family. The girls were all bridesmaids with Chance's three sisters and Brent and Mario were groomsmen with Chance's friends. It was fun but we are all really gratefull that all the stress is over... at least for now. We are still hoping that Janna decides to get married in July so we can all have a little break, but we will see.
Christmas Time in Cherryland
This Christmas was a lot of fun because we finally had the whole family here together. Janna was home from her mission. Marcos and Chance were able to join us, and of course Mario is with us from Germany until the summer. So we had a full house, a really full house.

Ginger gread houses are a real art. Mario's kept caving in, and Rachel used about every peice of candy that she could find. Of course her house didn't last very long because an hour after she made it she started to eat it because she thought that I was not watching her.

OLD TOWN! This was a fun little trip. We took Marcos, Chance, and Mario down to Old Town where the luminarias light everything up and line all of the streets no Christmas Eve. It was a little cold, but a good night.

CHRISTMAS MORNING! Rachel of course snuck out early and woke up half of the house with her, but it was a lot of fun.
Santa came to visit us before Christmas, and all of us got to sit on his lap. When he first came inside Jeff was surprised because he did not know who it was, only some guy saying HO HO HO running into the house. Rachel went hiding, and Jeff told Santa that the only thing Brent wanted was to sit on Santa's helper's lap. Poor Brent, Santa's helper was a Senior girl in his seminary class, and his whole face went really red.

Janna mission
Rocky Point, Mexico, Mar 2007

This was our spring break. Our hotel was right on the beach. Everyone enjoyed the water -- even Anni, our exchange student from Finland. She recently had surgery to fix her broken ankle, and could only hobble around. This is the first trip to the ocean that Rachel can remember. She had a great time.
